The objective is to conduct radiation measurements in various chosen hospitals to determine the level of exposure from X-ray machines precisely at a distance of 1 meter from the primary source. The work was carried out within a year in each of the selected centers. The personnel examination records containing the type of examination each day, peak tube voltage, tube current, and exposure time, including the actual number of films used, were obtained. A total of 40 personnel were examined in the Government Hospital, Agbor, 21 in Central Hospital Owa Alero and 18 in Okonye Hospital. The method used here has also been used by other researchers. Findings showed that the results obtained from the three hospitals investigated in this work were found to conform with the recommendations of the National Commission on Radiological and Protection {NCRP} 70 and 116 protocols. The Radiologists in the three study areas have the highest dose level, but of particular note is the dosage of the radiologists in Okonye hospital. This, as observed, is because the protective shielding parameters were inadequate and this could result in severe health consequences over time.</p>2024-02-02T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Authorshttps://journal.hmjournals.com/index.php/JNRPSP/article/view/3703Impact of Nursing Interventions on Patient Outcomes: A Comprehensive Analysis2024-02-23T09:44:56+00:00Ibu M. Sinusitis, inflammation of the sinus cavities, is a potential cause of hypersalivation due to drainage and irritation in the upper respiratory tract. This paper investigates the connection between sinus issues and hypersalivation, exploring the mechanisms at play, common symptoms, and potential treatment options. The paper aims to provide a concise overview of this often-overlooked link and its impact on individuals experiencing both conditions.</p>2024-03-02T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Authorshttps://journal.hmjournals.com/index.php/JNRPSP/article/view/3815Pharmacists as Patient Advocates: Enhancing Medication Adherence and Health Outcomes2024-03-08T10:55:39+00:00Dr. Mayur Rasiklal Yadavyarmayur@gmail.com<p>This is a study of the pharmacists who are the advocates of patients' health. The study deals with enhancing medication adherence and improving the health outcomes of the patients. Using technology this can be done easily. Technologies such as Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) provide efficiency to operations. The several benefits of automated dispensing have also been covered along with a drawback of using this technology. The benefits to the patients and pharmacists come with a reduction in dispensing errors and overall improved healthcare. Lastly, the study gives future research directions with fields to work towards.</p>2024-03-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Authors
