Abstract

Day lighting is defined as the natural maximum light used in a commercial building to illuminate the interior space of the building. The strategy has numerous benefits including energy saving, enhancing interior space, and aesthetics in the structure. Daylighting can be achieved in commercial buildings by the orientation of building windows opening and the material used.
