How Publication is Funded

IJAAP's publication costs — editorial handling, peer-review management, XML / PDF production, DOI registration, digital preservation via PKP PN, and long-term hosting — are borne in full by HM Publishers as part of its Diamond OA mission for the agricultural and animal-production research community. IJAAP does not solicit or accept sponsorship arrangements that could compromise editorial independence.

No Conditional Fees

Acceptance of a manuscript for publication in IJAAP is based exclusively on scholarly merit as determined by peer review. Ability or willingness to pay does not, and never will, play any role in the acceptance decision. The absence of any fee applies to all authors, in all countries, at every stage of the editorial workflow.

Transition Clause

Should IJAAP's business model change at any point in the future, the journal commits to (i) providing at least 12 months' public notice, (ii) honouring the fee-free status for all manuscripts already under review at the point of announcement, and (iii) publishing a waiver and discount schedule for authors from low- and middle-income countries in line with the World Bank classification and Research4Life eligibility.
