Appeals and Complaints Policy

APPEALS AND COMPLAINTS POLICY

IJAAP is committed to a fair and transparent editorial process. This policy describes how
authors may appeal editorial decisions and how complaints about the journal are handled.

APPEALING AN EDITORIAL DECISION

Authors who believe their manuscript was unfairly rejected may submit a formal appeal to
the Editor-in-Chief at editor.ijaap@gmail.com within 30 days of the rejection decision.

An appeal must include:
(a) The manuscript ID and title
(b) A clear statement of the grounds for appeal
(c) A point-by-point rebuttal of the reviewers' or editor's specific concerns
(d) Any new evidence or arguments not previously considered

Appeals based solely on disagreement with the decision, without specific scientific
counterarguments, will not be considered.

Appeals are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, who may consult other editorial board members.
A decision on the appeal will be communicated within 30 working days.

COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE JOURNAL

to the Editor-in-Chief at editor.ijaap@gmail.com.
