Research Data & Data Availability Policy
JNRPSP encourages authors to make their underlying research data openly available wherever legally, ethically, and contractually permissible. Authors are required to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript, placed before the References section.
Acceptable statement examples:
- "The datasets generated and analysed during this study are openly available at [repository], [DOI]."
- "The datasets are available from the corresponding author on reasonable request."
- "No new data were generated in this study (e.g., systematic review/meta-analysis)."
For clinical data: Patient-level data sharing is subject to ethical, legal, and privacy constraints. Authors must clearly state any restrictions and the reason for them. Clinical data shared should be de-identified in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Authors are encouraged to use appropriate clinical data repositories such as ICTRP, ClinicalTrials.gov, or institutional data repositories.
