Data Availability and Data Sharing Policy

Data Availability and Data Sharing Policy

The Journal of Corporate Finance Management and Banking System (JCFMBS) supports open science principles and encourages transparency in reporting research data.

Data Availability Statement (Required for All Submissions)

All submissions must include a Data Availability Statement as a separate labelled section at the end of the manuscript, before the References. Authors must clearly state one of the following:

  • The data are publicly available, providing the repository name, accession number, and DOI or URL.
  • The data are available from the corresponding author on reasonable request.
  • The data are not publicly available due to specific restrictions (e.g., confidential survey data, third-party data licensing) with the reason explained.

Acceptable Statement Examples

"The data that support the findings of this study are openly available in [repository name] at [URL/DOI]."

"The data that support the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request."

"The data underlying this study are not publicly available due to restrictions imposed by [institution/data provider]. Requests for access may be directed to [contact]."

Recommended Repositories

Authors are encouraged to deposit data in recognised open repositories such as Figshare, Zenodo, Dryad, Harvard Dataverse, or subject-specific repositories prior to submission and to cite the deposited dataset in the manuscript.

Code and Supplementary Materials

Authors are encouraged to share analysis code, scripts, and supplementary materials alongside their data. These may be submitted as supplementary files or deposited in a public repository such as GitHub or Zenodo and cited in the manuscript.
