Data Availability Statement Policy

JLS encourages authors to make the data underlying their research publicly available where possible and legally permissible.

All submitted manuscripts must include a Data Availability Statement as a separate section at the end of the article (before the References section).

ACCEPTABLE STATEMENTS INCLUDE:

"The data that support the findings of this study are available in [repository name] at [DOI/URL]."

"The data that support the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request."

"This is a theoretical/doctrinal study; no new data were generated or analysed."

"Data sharing is not applicable to this article as no datasets were generated or analysed."

Authors who cannot share data due to confidentiality, legal, or ethical restrictions must clearly state this and provide the reason. Lack of data sharing due to third-party restrictions will not affect the editorial decision.
