Retraction, Correction & Expression of Concern Policy

RETRACTION AND CORRECTION POLICY

Journal of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Neural Network (JAIMLNN)

JAIMLNN is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. This policy governs corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern for published articles, in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

1. CORRECTIONS

An Erratum is issued when an error is introduced by the editorial or production process. A Corrigendum is issued when an error is made by the author(s). Corrections do not affect the overall conclusions of the paper. They are published as separate notices linked bidirectionally to the original article.

2. RETRACTIONS

An article will be retracted if there is clear evidence of: unreliable findings due to misconduct or honest error; duplicate or redundant publication without proper declaration; plagiarism; unethical research; or fraudulent authorship. Retracted articles remain accessible but are watermarked 'RETRACTED' in all formats. The retraction notice states the date and reason for retraction.

3. EXPRESSION OF CONCERN

An Expression of Concern may be issued when an investigation is ongoing or inconclusive, or when there is uncertainty about the reliability of published findings pending institutional response.

4. PROCEDURE & TIMELINE

Concerns may be reported to the Editor-in-Chief at editor.jaimlnn@gmail.com. All reports are treated in confidence. The editor follows COPE flowcharts to determine appropriate action. Authors are given the opportunity to respond before any formal action is taken. The journal aims to complete all investigations within 90 days.
